Beginning July 2020, I've written weekly review blogs on his community website. These blogs recap the games played the previous week.

From May until August 2018, I was an intern for DotFM Group, providing regional coverage to a national audience. One project was to highlight NPOs around Boone, NC. This is some of my work.

I've had the opportunity to undertake numerous freelance opportunities. I've had work from gaming web sites, magazines, and newspapers.

2018: Watauga Democrat. Spoke about the fan experience at the Appalachian State/Penn State football game.
2014: World of Warcraft magazine. Fan made, online publication. Wrote a book review that related to a soon-to-be released expansion for the video game.

2011: AskAJedi. Wrote numerous articles under the handle Shockum.

For my capstone class, Specialized Reporting, my partner and I focused on the craft brewing scene. We decided to shift our focus to one specific brewery, while exploring the quick growth of craft breweries.

For the 2009 academic school year, I worked for Appalachian State Sports Information. During the 2009, football season, I wrote numerous GameDay Features, for the game program.
